Though there were some rumours that the Pokémon Go would hit the market next year, some sources have confirmed that the release of the Pokémon Go! would be during the month of February.

The release of the Pokémon Go has created an excitement among the audience to such a degree that, the audience have started submitting to-do list for the game. Making use of catch phrases, playing "Pokémon" music during fights, starting a gym, creating badges and challenging unwitting people to battles are just some of the things that fans will do once they get their hand on Pokémon Go!

Pokémon Go has been created on a realistic platform, and which is the main reason for the amount of pre-release popularity it has managed to get. On the other hand, a devise named Pokémon Go Plus has also been created exclusively for the game. It acts like an add on devise to aid better experience for the users in the course of playing the game. It uses Bluetooth to send and receive data from the player's mobile phone. The devise also allows players to play without constantly checking their phone for updates. It delivers feedback and flashes LEDs in a series of colours.

Tsunekazu Ishihara, President and CEO of The Pokémon Company said, "The main point of Pokémon Go Plus is to naturally let the players know that something is happening. The reason is that we want players not just to look into their phones or Pokémon Go Plus, but also focus on their surroundings' in the real world".
