Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston have completed a month of their most private celebrity wedding with perhaps the maximum public attention.

Theroux had come to promote season two of his hit show "The Leftovers," but then poured out his love for his wife.

During the wedding, season two had been "deep in production", but everyone began to wonder how he got the time during the "secret" nuptials. Yet, there was a "very logical writer's hiatus" that put out "a perfect cover in a weird way," said the 44-year-old actor to Access Hollywood. "It happened to coincide---not happened to---but coincided with my birthday. So, it became a beautiful thing."

Finally, his wedding created the real season sensation---one, two and all subsequent ones! "My mum pointed out to me that there are only two times in life when people say really nice things about you to you. And one of them you're dead for," Theroux told News.com AU. "So she said, 'Enjoy it.' And I did, enormously."

He loves calling Aniston "my wife".

"It feels very touching. I can't remember the first time I said those words but it feels fantastic. It's a comfortable term. I was getting tired of saying fiancee," he chuckles. "That sounds adorable for about six months and then you go, 'OK, we got to make some time for this'."

They were engaged for almost three years and finally they got to legally finalise their wedding.

"It [the wedding] went off perfectly, very smoothly. The best part of the wedding is, of course, being able to stand across from someone and say those words. That meant a lot. And to have many of your friends there in support of that, there is something very beautiful about that ritual."

Next stage was setting off for their honeymoon with their closest friends, including Courtney Cox, Jason Bateman and Chelsea Handler, who all set off to Bora Bora to enjoy their star-studded honeymoon.

"It was a fantastic honeymoon," he told Extra. "We had thought about it; we could just do a normal honeymoon, or we could go with some friends, keep the party going, relax and have fun. It was really special, it was really beautiful."

Would the ecstatic Jennifer Aniston change her name along with her life?

"I don't think it would be great if she did," he said of her changing her name. "I think 'Aniston' is going to stick with her if she likes it or not."

"I look forward to being good to her," he explained. "It's hard to explain but it's a nice feeling, a settled feeling. It just feels really good."
