September 28 is a significant "blood moon" lunar eclipse day. It is predicted to be doomsday---and also said to be the beginning of the end of the world, according to The Times of Israel.

On a day of the full lunar eclipse, the blood moon makes the sun's rays appear blood-like when they travel through the earth's atmosphere.

On that day there will be the fourth lunar eclipse in the last couple of years, forming what is called a "tetrad". This is the first night of Sukkot, a Jewish holiday.

On the other hand, Christians are convinced that this is the doomsday, pointing to a passage from the Book of Joel as proof: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes," warns the passage.

Usually, blood moons are linked with tragedy, a historical pattern in Jewish history. They believe that the universe is changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way, reaching out to us through supernatural methods.

Peter John Hagee from Inquisitr  says: "I believe that in these next two years, we're going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world."

Science, of course has dismissed all these fears. NASA has ruled out the possibility of any sort of cataclysmic catastrophes linked to the celestial event, according to HNGN.
