There is an exciting online payment startup Stripe that launches Twitter's e-commerce ambitions.

On Monday, the partners released a new button that helped to show an expanded functionality, now permitting Twitter users to sell by just tweeting.

This Buy button is one part of a "Relay." That is a pack of tools that helps to ensure easy selling and buying for retailers. Hence, a user of Twitter can post merchandise inside a tweet while buyers can get it without getting redirected to a third-party merchant or payment processing website. Hence, the entire transaction can be concluded then and there.

"Almost two-thirds of our users say they bought something specifically because of what they saw on Twitter. ... As mobile and social (media) continue to grow, consumers are going to discover and transact right in the apps where they spend their time every day," Nathan Hubbard, head of commerce at Twitter, said in a Reuters report.

Currently, Twitter has decided not to charge for anything on its platform. However, once there are a lot of customers, the company will begin to charge, the Wall Street Journal  reported. As the popular social networking website is trying to generate revenue, the new Buy button could help in a big way.

Relay is not just available on Twitter, but can get implemented in other apps too, for companies that are trying to cash in on the exploding mobile market.

"For stores, you can use Relay to enable instant purchases in third-party mobile apps," Stripe said in a statement. "For app developers, Relay is a set of APIs for building great in-app buying experiences," according to hngn.
