Chris Pratt remembered his late father in a Twitter post on Labor Day Weekend.

In the throwback picture, a young and smiling Chris Pratt can be seen with his brother Cully who are both holding fishing rods as they went on a fishing trip with their dad.

"Your to do list. 1) have kids 2) play outside 3) teach them to fish 4) take pictures," he captioned the photo on Twitter as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

He further added, "Thanks Dad. Miss you man."

The actor lost his dad last year after suffering from multiple sclerosis for a long time during the filming of the blockbuster, Jurassic World.

Back then in an interview with GQ, Pratt admitted to have 'compartmentalized' his emotions as he felt responsible being the lead actor in the movie.

"I knew, being the lead in the movie, that I was really responsible for everybody's attitude. So I compartmentalized it all and dealt with it in my own way, but not openly for people to see. I got pretty angry and got drunk and almost got in a fight with a drug dealer outside of my hotel room," the actor told that time.

He further shared his discovery of sharing similar traits with his late father as the years went by, Access Hollywood said.

"Physically, we look similar. And sometimes I hear his voice coming out of my mouth - some of the things he says, some of the things I would say," he said.

The 34-year old actor is currently filming "The Magnificent Seven" with costars Denzel Washington. The film is said to focus on the heroic deeds of gunmen in saving a poor village, Mail Online said.

In last week's post, the actor posed with Korean superstar who is also included in the upcoming movie.

"Chilling on set with Korean superstar and all around great guy #ByungHunLee aka #BillyRocks of the #MagnificentSeven800 horse falls!!! That's a new movie record!!!"
