Emily Ratajkowski, who first appeared in Robin Thicke and Pharrell William's award-winning song, 'Blurred Lines' has been meaning to tell the public that she has moved on since her raunchy role in the video.

"When anyone comes up to me about 'Blurred Lines,' I'm like, 'are we seriously talking about a video from three years ago?'" the model said in an interview with Instyle UK as mentioned in a report by Fox News.

The 24-year old model-actress, who has starred alongside Ben Affleck in the thriller 'Gone Girl' further said that the Blurred Lines video is 'the bane of my existence.'

"I wasn't into the idea at all at first. I think I came off as a bit annoyed in the video. Now, it's the bane of my existence," she told the media outlet via Billboard.

Ratajkowski further asserted that she was brought up among parents who makes her feel confident with herself and her body.

"My mum taught me to never apologize for my sexuality. My dad never made me feel embarrassed. I also don't think I've ever had an awareness of my own body as being super-sexual. It was always just my body," the model said during the interview.

Blurred Lines, a song that garnered several Grammys, had been subjected to a court battle as initiated by Marvin Gaye's family who claimed that the song has a lot of similarities with Gaye's then-hit single, "Give It Up," The Guardian reported.

The lawsuit favored the Gaye family which let them acquire $4.7m for intellectual rights infringement.
