Ruby Rose, known for her role as Stella Carlin on the hit Netflix series, "Orange is the New Black," is reportedly joining "Fast 8," the eighth movie in the "Fast and Furious" franchise.

"My last audition before Orange was for Fast And Furious 7. But they didn't want me because one of the main guys said I looked like Justin Bieber!" Rose said back in July. "It's so funny because now I'm in talks with that movie and I haven't mentioned to them that I know [they turned my down because I looked like Justin]."

The latest rumors are reporting that Rose has a confirmed role in the movie. Universal Pictures and returning actors, such as Vin Diesel, have not commented on whether or not Rose will indeed be starring in the film.

Other actors that have been rumored to star in "Fast 8" include Eva Mendes, Helen Mirren, Cara Delevingne, Cody Walker, Jason Statham and Kurt Russell. Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris are all expected to return.

"Fast 8," which does not have a director yet, will be set in New York. There are no plot details for the movie.

Production has allegedly been pushed back due to Diesel's busy filming schedule. Diesel is starring in his third "xXx" movie titled, "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," which will begin filming in the Philippines in December.

"Fast 8" is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 14, 2017.
