More leaks from telecom majors across world have confirmed that the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus would be available for pre-order on September 11.

Last week, leaked communication from a major French carrier revealed that iPhone would be available for pre-order a week before it goes on sale September 18. According to BGR that a Chinese telecom executive has revealed through social media posts that sales would start selling during the week September 18 - 25 in retail stores.

The executive reportedly also revealed that the new iPhone is similar to iPhone 6 in design but will be powered by more RAM, a new A9 64-bit processor and an improved camera. Force Touch is another feature that the new iPhones will support.

The rear camera on iPhones has been dubbed world's most popular though Apple has not upgraded its 8-megapixel shooter since 2011, the increase in pixel size notwithstanding. The new iPhones are expected to feature 12 megapixels and multi-element lens, Popular Science reports.

Other reports about the iPhone 6S/iPhone 6S Plus suggest that Apple is planning a massive launch event. Citing other sources, Christian Post suggested that Apple may have booked the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco that can seat 7,000 people. Earlier reports claimed Apple was planning the launch at Yerba Buena Center that can seat 755 people.
