Deciding on going to a museum trip with your 12-year-old? Well, here is something you need to be aware of!

This Sunday was probably the most tragic and a heartbreaking weekend for all the art lovers. A 12 year old Taiwanese boy accidently slipped and fell into a magnificent painting. This painting was not at all ordinary, but incorporated the elements of remarkable and exceptional artistic skills. The painting was worth $1.5 million, leaving it totally ruined and of no use.

The entire episode was no doubt an accident, but has left the art lovers in disbelief. The organizers of the exhibition named as Face of Leonardo: Images of a Genius exhibit in Taipei claims that the painting was a 350 year old masterpiece by Paolo Porpora, an Italian painter. The work of oil on canvas was referred to as "Flowers" and was considered as an epitome of creativity.

The incident took place when a young boy was roaming around with a drink in his hands, wearing a blue T-shirt and shorts. He was accidently seen stumbling upon an obstacle, which resulted in an unfortunate occurrence.

The painting is without any doubt insured and the cost would be covered by the insurance company later on. Other than that, there are no clear words by the museum administration as to what they are planning on doing with the messed up painting.

This is a simple yet loud message for all the young and casual boys as their negligence can cause trouble to not only the people around them, but can also cause havoc to such issues, observed two days ago. The boy most likely will not be facing any sort of charges, but it is for sure that all the media limelight is on the young boy that has gained even more fame than the painting itself!
