With free agency hype cooling down now that the major players have signed new contracts, the rumor mill has shifted its focus onto some of the league's lesser-known players. Here are the updates for three players who could be involved in last minute trades or signings.

1. Markieff Morris

Morris, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, might be looking to move after the team traded away his twin brother, Marcus, on July 9. On top of his brother's trade, Markieff is reportedly very upset that the Suns were willing to trade him for LaMarcus Aldridge earlier in the offseason.

With his brother gone, there is nothing keeping Markieff in Arizona. Markieff is reportedly demanding a trade. According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7, Markieff would like to go to either the Houston Rockets or the Toronto Raptors.

"He likes Houston because of James Harden and Toronto because of Kyle Lowry, but he honestly doesn't care where he gets dealt as long as he is not wearing a Suns uniform," Gambadoro wrote. "He is going to tell the Suns he can't play for them, has too much hatred and animosity built up and that they won't want him around."

Gambadoro added that Markieff has been giving the team the silent treatment and will act standoffish if he remains in Arizona.

2. Jason Richardson

Veteran Jason Richardson will be playing another year in the NBA. The 34-year-old shooting guard will be signing with the Atlanta Hawks, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reported.

Since the Hawks currently have several wing players, such as Kyle Korver, Thabo Sefolosha, Tim Hardaway Jr., Kent Bazemore and Justin Holiday, Richardson might not get too much playing time next season. Richardson, however, could take on a leadership role in the locker room.

3. Garrett Temple

The Utah Jazz are reportedly eyeing Garrett Temple after they lost Dante Exum to an ACL injury. Jody Genessy of Deseret News reported that the Jazz want to add the veteran in order to strengthen their backcourt. Temple, 29, is a very similar player to Exum. They are both known for being very defense-oriented players.

J. Michael of CSNWashington.com reported that the Jazz and the Washington Wizards have not talked about a potential trade yet.
