Sharon Stone, one of the sexiest figures in Hollywood, bears it all in the latest story of Harper's Bazaar. In spite of the bearing a toned figure, the actress joked that she was never asked out.

"I never get asked out. It's so stupid. I don't know what to do." Lately, she says, "I've been getting more brazen with flirting, but I don't think men realize that I'm flirting. They just think, Oh, she's fun!"

But well, jokingly aside, the 57-year old actress how that fateful 2001 stroke had changed her life with her experiencing a 'DNA change.'

"It took two years for my body just to absorb all the internal bleeding I had. It almost feels like my entire DNA changed. My brain isn't sitting where it used to, my body type changed, and even my food allergies are different."

The actress was then suffering from impaired version, a stutter that made it hard for her to read her lines in the Martin Scorsese's Casino.

Stone's marriage with journalist, Phil Bronstein, also added to her injury as they got divorced a few years later with Stone's losing battle to gain custody for their adopted son, Roan.

But amidst all, the actress managed to get her life back and had maintained a humble character in working on a new project, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU)

"I thought, 'You know what? I got thrown off the bullet train, and now I'm going to have to crawl up a hill of broken glass, get back on the train that's going a million miles an hour, and work my way from the cattle car up. That's just the way it is, so I'd better get humble and shut the fuck up and do the job. Because if I can't do this job, I'm certainly not going to be able to do anything else.' "

As to being sexy, this is the Basic Instincts actress has to say as mentioned in The Spec, "What really is sexy?' It's not just the elevation of your boobs. It's being present and having fun and liking yourself enough to like the person that's with you. If I believed that sexy was trying to be who I was when I did 'Basic Instinct,' then we'd all be having a hard day today."

Harper Bazaar's article about the A-lister has now become viral with netizens having mixed reactions about her story that explains the 'asshole', 'abrasive' image she has all these years.

In comments found in Jezebel, one netizen said, "WOAH WOAH WOAH Sharon. I feel for you. But you leave SVU out of it."

"I've always thought she was pretty much of an asshole also, an opinion strengthened after her statement that she'd "...rather eat a dirt sandwich than go out with Dwight Yoakam again." I don't know either one of them, of course, and she may be correct but, until she records a song as good as "Ain't That Lonely Yet," I'll stand by my arbitrary opinion of her. She's a beautiful woman, though, but looks so sad."
