"Fifty Shades Darker" might not be done on time for Valentine's Day in 2017. According to the latest reports, the movie's lead actor, Jamie Dornan, might be causing a delay due to his busy work and personal life schedules.

The rumors are claiming that after Dornan is finished with the film, "Anthropoid," he wants to take some time off to spend with his wife, Amelia Warner before jumping back in to work. There were some rumors that Dornan wanted to delay production in order to ease Warner's worries. Warner allegedly does not like the fact that her husband has to film so many intimate scenes with the film's lead actress, Dakota Johnson.

Dornan has spoken out about earlier rumors claiming that he was interested in Johnson. Dornan had stated that he was not interested in Johnson at all and that he is still very madly and deeply in love with his wife,

Johnson, who plays Dornan's love interest, previously hinted that filming could start in the new year. However, based on the latest reports, filming might start later than January.

On top of these rumors, the movie still does not have a director attached to it. Sam Taylor-Johnson directed the first film in the franchise, "Fifty Shades of Grey," but departed from the project allegedly due to creative differences with E.L. James, the author of the book series. The movie has yet to find actors for key roles in the second movie.

"Fifty Shades Darker," which will be a lot darker than the first movie, will pick up where the characters left off. (*Spoilers Alert*) In "Fifty Shades of Grey," billionaire Christian Grey (Dornan) becomes infatuated with college graduate, Anastasia Steele (Johnson). The two begin a romantic relationship, which starts to get rocky when Grey introduces Steele into his world of BDSM and tries to get Steele to agree to be his submissive. At the very end of the movie, Steele walks out on Grey.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is supposed to come out on Valentine's Day in 2017.
