Is "The Bold and the Beautiful" losing another character?

According to many speculations, Winsor Harmon, who plays Thorne Forrester, might be leaving the show after the soap drama unexpectedly killed off Aly Forrester (Ashlyn Pearce).

The future for Thorne, who just returned to L.A., is unclear. After spending time away to run Forrester International, Thorne came back just to find out that his only daughter has been murdered.

After Steffy, who is the main suspect, told Thorne about Aly's death, the show quickly speeds up to the funeral scene, leaving fans wondering what happened to all of the cops, paramedics, and coroner who typically show up after someone has died. Instead, the show skipped all of these key parts.

Celeb Dirty Laundry called out the bad story writing, stating, "Not too many tears shed at the funeral of Thorne's only daughter - then BAM everyone is back to Forrester and it's business as usual. This story was obviously thrown together at the last minute."

Now fans will have to wait and see what direction the writers will take Thorne. Will he be written off the show as well now that he has no one left in his life (his wife was killed earlier on the show) or will he become vengeful?

In other B&B news, Maya (Karla Mosley) and Rick's (Jacob Young) wedding might be in jeopardy after Maya overheard her father, Julius calling her names. Maya's father has never come to terms with the fact that his daughter is transgender.

"Show some respect, I'm your father!" Julius said to Maya, who was confronting him for his lack of support, in a preview clip for today's episode.

When Julius leaves, he says, "See a dog can't be a cat, and a boy can't be a girl. And don't you ever say that I didn't pray for you."

A new episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful" will be airing today at 1:30 pm ET on CBS.
