Recently, there were two things that gave Keith Borum probably the best day of his life.

He was still alive, in spite of having terminal cancer.

He got married from his hospital bed, according to lovemeso.

Keith Borum and Nina Scott from Lake Ronkonkoma tied the knot from his bedside at the Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York, according to dailymail.

Nina told ABC News  "The whole thing was great. I don't know what my favorite moment was. I couldn't imagine how great it could be or would be. The staff just outdid themselves ... We couldn't have done it no better."

The 49-year-old Keith Borum had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He had been given just two months.

When she heard it, Nina, his fiancée, rushed into Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York, and wept.

When nurses found and asked her about her state of mind, she said that they had been supposed to get married this summer. Consoling her, the nurses told her that they could still make that happen.

So four days later, they did it. On July 8, surrounded by family and friends, the two of them got married with food, flowers, a cake and even rings.

"The hospital really made it a dream come true for us," Nina said. "They put it together in such a short amount of time and made it really wonderful."

The couple is from Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, and have been together for three years. Their love, at least, is undying.

"What immediately attracted me to him was his heart and his smile," Nina said. "He's a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit and a heart of gold."

Keith kept grinning through his pain. He stole Nina's sunglasses to pose for a photo, and kept joking.

"Afterwards he told me it was the best day of his life," Nina said. "He didn't have to tell me, I already knew because I could see it on his face and I felt the same way."
