"Fifty Shades Darker," the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey," might get steamier.

According to the latest reports, the movie, which is based after E.L. James's erotica book series with the same titles, might include longer and raunchier sex scenes between the two leading actors, Jamie Doran, who plays billionaire Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele.

The reports are claiming that the plan is to up the sex factor for this BDSM-themed film, which still does not have a director attached to it. The increased sex scenes will most likely lead to a stricter rating, R-18 or R-21.

Ever since Universal announced that "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Free" will be made, there have not been too many updates on the project. So far, Dornan and Johnson have stated that they will be returning. The rumors claimed that both actors asked for significantly more money after the first movie performed well in the box office. Dornan was also reportedly offered $1.5 million to go full frontal in "Fifty Shades Darker."

Aside from the main actors, there were rumors that Henry Cavill would play Steele's boss, Jack Hyde, Charlize Theron would play Grey's former dominant, Eleanor Lincoln/Mrs. Robinson and Cara Delevingne would play Grey's former submissive, Leila Williams.

Cavill has spoken out about the rumors, stating that he will not be starring in the franchise. Theron and Delevingne, however, have remained mummed on these casting rumors.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will pick up where "Fifty Shades of Grey" left off with Steele walking out on Grey after she decided that his world of BDSM was too much for her. "Fifty Shades Darker" will reportedly be a much darker film than the first one.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will open in theaters on Valentine's Day in 2017.
