Lil Wayne has been the subject of gay rumors throughout this year. The latest stories, however, are claiming that the rapper might not be gay, but rather, a victim of sexual abuse.

Several publications, in their attempts to understand the feud between Lil Wayne and Bryan "Birdman" Williams, the CEO of Cash Money Records, are alleging that Birdman had sexually abused Lil Wayne when he was a minor. These stories, which are based on speculation and rumors as opposed to evidence, suggest that Lil Wayne's desires to leave the record label has more to do with his personal relationship with Birdman and not contract and money disputes.

According to the Inquisitr, Lil Wayne was a part of a documentary created in 2009. In the documentary, Lil Wayne supposedly admitted to being sexually abused by adult men.

The Washington City Paper wrote in 2010:

"The Carter was originally undertaken with Lil Wayne's blessing, but the rapper later withdrew his support for the film (and sued the filmmakers), ostensibly due to its depictions of Wayne's heavy drug use.... In the middle of The Carter, an obviously high Lil Wayne jokes openly about being raped at the age of 11 with the encouragement of his surrogate father, Baby-and informs Lil Twist, a 15-year-old member of Wayne's record label Young Money, that Wayne is going to help him get raped, too."

Lil Wayne has denied being sexually abused.

Lil Wayne sued Cash Money Records for $51 million in January 2015 after claiming that Birdman failed to pay him the money he earned from his album. Lil Wayne also blamed the label for the delay of his album and is asking to be released from his contract.

Birdman, on the other hand, recently filed a $50 million lawsuit against Tidal, the music-streaming service, for streaming Lil Wayne's music. The rapper had given Tidal access to his new songs without Cash Money Records' consent. The label is now arguing that it owns the rights to Lil Wayne's work.

On top of these lawsuits, Birdman was named in an indictment for potentially being involved in a plan to murder Lil Wayne back in April. Birdman has since denied these allegations and has offered his help to find out who was behind the murder plot carried out by Jimmy Carlton Winfrey.
