Training camp barely just started and Dez Bryant is already fighting with his teammates.

The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver punched cornerback Tyler Patmon on Sunday, the fourth practice of training camp.

Watch:

Bryant, the two-time Pro Bowler, and Patmon got into a scuffle after the final play of team drills. As the players got heated up, helmets starting coming off as punches were thrown. Bryant, who continued to try and get to Patmon until Tony Romo stepped in, was booed by the fans in the crowd.

Both players have since addressed the fight, stating that they have worked out their issues.

"At the end of the day he wasn't going to back down and I wasn't going to back down and you seen us," Bryant said. "We shook hands, we hugged and we respect one another."

Bryant added, "You don't want somebody weak on your team. That's why Patmon, he was undrafted and he's fighting his way. And he's fighting for respect and he got mine. I'll go to war with a guy like that any day of the week."

"Oh, man, it's just brothers," Patmon said. "Brothers fight. It's just what happens sometimes. So we go out at, we squashed and it's over."

"It's going on with 31 other teams, too. It's competition. You go through it and you get it worked out in the locker room and it's all fine," tight end Jason Witten said. "You guys are acting like a bunch of kids at the circus trying to get it. I mean, it's training camp. We all got a shirt that says 'Fight.' Competition, that's what it's all about. Nobody competes more the Dez Bryant."

Bryant recently rejoined the team after negotiating for a new contract all offseason. He signed a five-year, $70 million deal with $45 million in guarantees, making him one of the highest paid receivers in the league.

"That deal don't make me. It don't make me. I play this game because I love this game. I don't give a damn about none of that. It's not going to change the way I play," Bryant said reported by ESPN.com "It's not going to change the way I act. I'm here. Like, thank you, I can go buy me a home and now I'm able to take care of my family. Yeah, I love that, but as far as me performing on the field, like, I take full pride in that."

The Cowboys will open their season on Sunday, Sept. 13 against the New York Giants.
