Dispatcher Tells 911 Caller, 'deal with it yourself'

A 911 dispatcher from New Mexico has resigned after he told a caller to 'deal with it yourself' who was trying to save the life of a shooting victim.

The dispatcher Mathew Sanchez was reassigned when officials came to know about the call. However in a statement made on Tuesday by Albuquerque's Chief Administrative Office, Sanchez had tendered his resignation.

Jayden Chavez Silver ,17, was shot in June while he watched other teens playing cards at a friends house.

 Silver died later and the police have so far not revealed the names of any suspects or made arrests in connection with the case.

The audio transcript of the call was obtained by Associated Press.

During the call, the female caller says, "I am keeping him alive!"

Sanchez asks, "Is he not breathing?"

The caller responds, "Barely!"

She is then heard frantically encouraging Chavez-Silver to keep breathing.

"One more breath! One more breath!" she is heard speaking to Silver. "There you go Jaydon. One more breath! There you go Jaydon. Good job! Just stay with me, OK? OK?"

The dispatcher then asks again, "Is he breathing?"

The female responded, "He is barely breathing, how many times do I have to (expletive) tell you?"

"OK, you know what ma'am? You can deal with it yourself. I am not going to deal with this, OK?" the dispatcher says.

The way the call got disconnected it seemed as if Sanchez hung up on the caller in mid-sentence.
