If you're a man you like women---especially those with big rears. It isn't due to her butts, but it's the body type, according to bodyrock.

In a study that involved 300 men, psychology researchers at Turkey's Bilkent University showed women's silhouettes that had differing degrees of spine curvature, says Daily Mail. The men were then asked to select the women they found the most attractive, as well as those who were the least.

Most of them seemed to like a spine curvature of 45.5 degrees, which made the woman's butt look bigger.

Secondly, the men were shown other pictures with butts that were large due to other reasons---spine curvature, excess fat and excess muscle. Interestingly, it was the woman with the curved spine that seemed most attractive.

Hence, it's the angle of the spine that makes the woman impactful, not the rear end alone.

"Over the course of human history, women faced the adaptive problem of a forwarded-shifted center of mass during pregnancy," study co-author Eric Russell, a graduate student in psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington, told The Huffington Post  in an email. "Women with a greater degree of lumbar curvature ... were able to redistribute this center of mass to reduce the strain of pregnancy. Thus, we hypothesized that men should have a psychological adaptation to prefer these women as mating partners.'

Dr. David Lewis added that men who like big bottoms are actually fond of spines. While they aren't conscious of it, their minds are more attracted to the spines. The spine's curvature had an effect on the woman's ability to forage for food and bear children.

Those whose curve was 45 degrees helped them to find food into their pregnancies, and also continue to bear children with no injuries to their backs. However, women who do not have such a curve can have added pressure on their hips---by almost 800 percent.

Hence, the evolutionary benefits of women with these bodies became part of the minds of men. Thus, it is clear that big butts are "subconsciously associated with extensive procreation and increased activity during pregnancy," according to bodyrock.
