With the launch of the major flagships by Apple, Samsung seems to have lost its prominence in the global market.

The launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus by Apple, followed by the Apple Watch, consumers in the market seem to be more attracted towards the Apple gadgets over Samsung smart phones.

However, Samsung to regain its fame in the global market looks forward to release their upcoming flagships prior to the expected release date.

According to the report published by SamMobile and DigiTimes, Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S6 Edge+ on August 12.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+  have the most anticipated flagships of Samsung this year. According to rumours, Samsung has chose to launch their flagships earlier to get ahead of the media frenzy that typically accompanies Apple iPhone launches.

Consumers can expect the Galaxy Note 5 to feature a redesigned stylus, a 5.7 inch screen, and lack a microSD slot. However, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will most likely be a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge.
