Cara Delevingne reaffirms that her sexuality does not bother her even with the media's scrutiny and the possible downside effect to her upcoming movies.

"My sexuality is not a phase. I am who I am, she said according to US Magazine.

The Brit model, further said that there is 'nothing malicious' with Vogue's article about her for the July issue saying that being bisexual is a phase and she should start trusting men.

"Her parents seem to think girls are just a phase for Cara. And they may be correct," Rob Haskell said in his article.

Delevingne has never hid her affairs with other female celebrities. She did not deny her recent relationship with singer-songwriter St. Vincent as well as her affair with Fast and Furious star, Michelle Rodriguez.

In the Vogue issue, the 22-year old Burbery model shared that she struggled in accepting her feelings towards another girl.

"I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I'm feeling so happy with who I am these days. It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it."

Cara has been open about her troubled childhood living a drug addict mother. The model has also revealed being in therapy sessions which, according to her, were not helpful and did not make her happy, The Hamilton Spectator said.

"I always wanted to act, from when I was 4 years old. When I was younger, I hated myself, so I preferred being other people," she recalled.

Recently, Cara Delevingne, has a shift from her modelling to career to acting in Hollywood. She will play the role of a rebellious teenager Margo Roth Spiegelman in an upcoming movie, Paper Towns, which is based on the novel by John Green, whose "The Fault in Our Stars," New York Times said.

According to the movie director Jake Schreier, the young supermodel auditioned for the role with some 150 to 200 actresses who vied for the role.

"Obviously, in some outsized global way, Cara's lived a lot of what Margo's going through," Mr. Schreier said.
