Geroge R Martin, the author of the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" which inspired the heugly popular TV show "Game of Thrones' has reportedly set a meeting with his editors and publishers in the coming weeks.

The move has fuelled speculation that the author may organized the meeting to discuss the publication of his next book "The Winds of Winter".

The writer informed his followers that he would be attending a wedding in August through his blog post.

"The boys of summer better take heed -- winter is coming to Staten Island on August 8. And where there is winter, there are direwolves."

"So I'm headed east the first week of August... for a wedding, yes, and no, that's private, so you don't get to hear any more about it... but I am going to see my editors and publishers and agents while I am in town, and do some other fun stuff... including a ball game."

With Martin admitting that he wanted to release the book before season 6 of the 'Game of Thrones', fans are now hopeful that the book might be released between April- May next year.
