Now that the league's top agents have been signed, with the exception of a few players, all eyes are on the trading block.

According to league sources, the Denver Nuggets have reportedly been trying to trade Ty Lawson. The trade rumors heated up after the Nuggets drafted Emmanuel Mudiay.

The 27-year-old guard initially drew interest from a few teams. Some rumors claimed that he would be headed to the Sacramento Kings to reunite with George Karl. However, since his DUI arrest, his value has diminished significantly, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported.

Lawson was arrested in Los Angeles for speeding on the 101 Freeway early Tuesday morning. The officers administered a field sobriety test, which determined that Lawson was driving while intoxicated. The cops also reported that Lawson had identified himself as an NBA player. He was carrying $6,000 in cash. His bail was set at $5,000.

TMZ was the first to report on the story.

"We have been notified of an incident involving Ty Lawson this morning in Los Angeles," Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly said in a statement Tuesday afternoon. "We will not have further comment on the matter."

This is Lawson's second DUI this year. He was charged with a DUI on Jan. 23 while in Denver.

Ex-NBA player, Vin Baker, who let alcohol ruin his career, commented on Lawson's latest arrest. The four-time All-Star said to Yahoo! Sport, "I wish I could reach out to him. I would just give him encouragement no matter where he is at with it. It's a fight, it's real and it's not to be taken lightly. The unfortunate thing sometimes is you have to take a step back from what you've been doing your whole life to deal with something that is life-threatening. It's like, 'I got to get back to play.' You got to get right first."

He added, "My advice to Ty Lawson is to make his life his No. 1 priority. I don't know what this means for him as far as suspension or the discipline aspect, but it's important for him to get a hold of it first. The biggest mistake I made was trying to keep basketball as the priority. All the flags were around me. Life is bigger than the sport itself."

Some sources are reporting that the Nuggets might release him if they fail to trade him. The Kings, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers are all reportedly interested in signing him. If Lawson cleans up his act, he could be a valuable addition to any of these teams.

Lawson has two years left on his four-year, $48 million deal that he signed prior to the 2013-14 season. He was drafted by the Nuggets in 2009.

Lawson played in 75 games this past season. He averaged 15.2 points and 9.6 assists this season.
