JK Rowling made is trending again on Twitter by slamming an online troll for his alleged body-shaming comment against this year's Wimbledon Champion, Serena Williams.

The thread started when the Harry Potter author shared how amazed she was at the 20-year old world class tennis player.

"#SerenaSlam! I love her. What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!" she gushed on Twitter on Saturday.

However, not all of her followers shared her positive comment. One online contact tried to mock William's athletic built by saying, "@jk_rowling @hansmollman ironic then that main reason for her success is that she is built like a man"

The 49-year old author is quick to respond by posting a picture of the athlete in a body-hugging red dress with matching heels.

She addressed it to the online troll saying "@diegtristan8 "she is built like a man". Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot."

Rowling's tweet was marked favorite 55,000 times and retweeted more than 44,000, Yahoo News said.

According to New York Daily News, the troll, by the username "Rob" later received questioning and negative comments from other Twitter users regarding his way of thinking.

But the news source said that the negativity instantly dissipated as people are more focused in sharing praises about Billie Jean King, Hillary Clinton, Kobe Bryant and Caroline Wozniacki.

Before the encounter with the online troll, JK Rowling previously posted a photo of her standing beside Serena Williams, Business Standard said.

"I'm #TeamSerena today, because you don't meet many super-talented people nicer than she is. Go @serenawilliams! #SerenaSlam! I love her," goes the caption.
