Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin might be teaming up with Angelina Jolie again. The singer was seen with Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt at the London recording studio, Air Studios.

After being spotted together, rumors quickly surfaced that Martin could be working on Jolie's project, "By the Sea," The movie will be directed and written by Jolie, 40. Pitt, 51, will be starring in it.

Martin, 38, previously worked on a song for Jolie's "Unbroken" titled "Miracles," which ended up being nominated for Best Original Song at the 2015 Oscars. He previously joked in 2014 that the couple had kidnapped him so that he could write a song for the movie.

"I got a message that said, 'Meet in this undisclosed location. You'll be blindfolded and picked up by seven ex-Navy SEALs,'" Martin said to New York magazine. "So they kidnapped me, hit me over the head, and sprayed me with Mace. When I woke up, I was in an office, and Brad Pitt was doing push-ups as Angelina Jolie was just sitting there with her crown on. There was also a guy holding a knife to my throat, and she said, 'Write me a song, or else.' And Brad Pitt said, 'Yeah. What she said.'"

Despite these rumors, a source told PEOPLE that the stars met up for a friendly visit and not a business one.

The Jolie-Pitt family has been longtime friends with Martin.
