Google’s major project: New York City to have free high speed Wi Fi very soon

 Google's plan to establish free high speed Wi Fi service cross the world is now being taken further.

It's a good news for the citizens of New York City, as Google's grandiose plan will be implemented very soon.

According to Bloomberg, Google has already set up a company that'll handle the free Wi Fi job in the Big Apple. Sidewalk Labs is the Google backed start up that will turn 10,000 of New York's old phone booth's into ad supported Wi Fi pylons this September.

These booths will be equipped with cell phone charging, free domestic calls and a touch screen based information unit facilities.

Each pylon will have free Wi Fi accessible up to a range of 150 feet. These pylons will also feature advertisements.

Google expects to earn over $500 million in ad revenue to the city over the next 12 years.
