Rapper DMX Arrested For Not Paying Full Support And Other Multiple Outstanding Warrants

DMX is on his way to perform at the Masters of Ceremony performance at Radio City Music Hall on Friday night when he was nabbed by the New York Sherriff deputies for multiple outstanding warrants, the most recent is his inability to pay child support.

According to Rollingstone, the Erie County, New York judge demanded him $400,000 for child support.

A warrant of arrest was also issued from White Plains, New York for alleged bail jumping. Another warrant was also presented in the sheriff's office issued by the Yonkers for driving a motor vehicle without license.

He also receive a complaint for alleged robbery at a Newark, New Jersey gas station on April 5 which the rapper's lawyer called as a 'completely absurd' incident, Billboard said.

The tabloid said that the rapper missed the concert which was participated by other hiphop artists--Mase, Rakim, Shabba Ranks, Pete Rock, the Lox and others.

On Saturday, DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, appeared in court headed by Judge Eileen Rackower in Manhattan Criminal Court to be tried for his case on child support, New York Daily News said.

Aside from his recent charges, the 44-year old rapper has committed other law violations in the past including animal cruelty, reckless driving, drug possession and probation violations.

It was also said that the rapper has children with different women and had faced other demands from court to pay child support.

His ex-wife Tashera Simmons, the mother of four of his children previously demanded child support with a judge ordering $15,000 to be obligatorily set aside from his paycheck at Universal Music Group every month.
