Mariah Carey has fired up the rumors that she has a new man in her life.

The 45-year-old singer recently uploaded a picture of herself with her rumored new beau, Australian billionaire James Packer, director Brett Ratner and Warn Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara. Ratner, who was once linked to Carey, reportedly introduced the couple.

Prior to Carey's picture, fashion designer and former model Jodhi Meares also uploaded a shot of the couple. Meares, who is Packer's first ex-wife, seems to have a good relationship with Packer and the powerhouse vocalist.

The rumors about Carey and Packer sparked when they were seen hanging out in Italy. During their trip in Capri, they were photographed holding hands. Then in Sardinia, they were seen hanging out on Packer's yacht, where he threw a party just for her.

"He's wooing her," a source said to US Weekly.

Another source added that Packer, who is the fourth richest man in Australia, has been interested in Carey for a while. Packer is also reportedly a huge fan of Carey.

That source claimed, "James was interested in Mariah right when he heard she had split from Nick. They'd spent some time together before, and he thought she was gorgeous."

The Daily Mail reported (via TMZ) that Carey is opened to the idea of marrying Packer, who allegedly wants to tie the knot very soon.

"He's already told her he wants to marry her, sooner rather than later," a source said.

Carey was previously married to American actor Nick Cannon for six years. They have two children together, four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. Packer was last rumored to be dating Australian supermodel, Miranda Kerr.

Carey will resume her Las Vegas residency in July.
