Britain’s Oldest Man Dies at the Age of 111

Nazar Singh, an Indian origin, Britain's citizens dies at the age of 111.

Nazar Singh was born ion the year 1904 in Punjab and settled in England for 50 years with one of his nine children.

He was regarded as Britain's oldest man, and left this world after a week of celebrating his 111 birthday, as he was suffering from pneumonia.

Nazar Singh had thirty four grand children and sixty three great grandchildren, and had survived two world wars and the Great Depression.

While he was on his way to India to visit his relatives, he breathe his last.

His grandson Harvinder Gill, aged about 31, paid tribute to him and said that his grand dad was in incredible person and had lived a very happy and a fulfilling life.

Singh had also received a letter from the Queen on his 100th birthday, and had been getting one every year since, along with an annual letter and phone call from the Department for Work and Pensions.
