The government of North Korea declared on state television that the scientists of their nation had discovered a new-almost magical-drug, which is capable of both preventing and curing some of world's most deadly diseases such as Ebola, AIDS, MERS, and SARS.

The "news" was announced on the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), The Guardian reported.

The "cure" called Kumdang-2 was invented by scientists  using ginseng root, which was grown with fertilisers and a rare-earth element mixture that also contains tiny amounts of gold and platinum, said the KCNA.

It also explained, "Malicious virus infections like SARS, Ebola and MERS are diseases that are related to immune systems, so they can be easily treated by Kumdang-2 injection drug, which is a strong immune reviver."

As the official news agency did not give any further information or present a proof about the secret of the cure, many started to express skepticism because this is not the first time the nation came to the world's attention with such claims. North Korea had similarly claimed finding a cure for the devastating bird flu in two different years: first in 2006 and then in 2013, when bird flu hit Asian nations once again.

Since the state of "mystery" does not share much information with international organizations, it is not exactly known what the health conditions of the country really are, but the Guardian says the World Health Organization estimates that tuberculosis and respiratory infections are the leading causes of death in the country.

The timing of the declaration of a magic cure by the North Korean nation is quite remarkable since their rival southern neighbor South Korea is currently dealing with a MERS infections that claimed twenty-four people's lives already.

The guardian also noted that the "magic drug" is also available for "outsiders" online, which costs around $28 for a "starter kit." The website kumdang2.com  is available in both Russian and English.
