Twitter is experimenting with commerce since long and in the latest initiative the company has unveiled product and place page that lets users discover and purchase items within the service.

The new pages will essentially be an organization of related tweets about products and brands on dedicated pages. On the page, users will see other users' tweets about that product, prices and sometimes a buy button.

"These pages will feature images and video about the product alongside information such as a description, price, and an option to buy, book, or visit the website for more information," the micro-blogging service noted in a blogpost.

Twitter is also rolling out a feature called Collections. It will be a way for brands and celebrities to curate products and recommend them to followers. The company has signed up with 41 partners so far that will have curated collections for the service.

"In addition to pages, we're also beginning to test new ways for people and brands to create and share Twitter collections of products and places. You'll be able to browse rich collections from influencers you care about and get more information about the products or places you find interesting," the company added.

In the same blogpost, the company hinted that more new experiences are on the way.

"This is just the beginning. In the coming months we'll be testing more new experiences we hope give you the most personalized and relevant information about the places and things you want to explore," it quoted.
