Mercedes Benz is working on their latest upcoming flagships, the Mercedes Benz GLC series.

Not much is known about the LC series. However, some rumours tell us that the Mercedes Benz GL series will be an upgraded version of the company's earlier flagship, the Mercedes Benz GLK series, which was launched eight years ago.

The Merced Benz GLC will use the same engine as the C class, meaning the entry level models will get a 241 horsepower turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder while more expensive versions will run on a twin charged 3.0 litres V6 rated at 329 ponies.

The GC 63 will feature a twin turbo charged 4.0 litre V8 engine rated at approximately 470 horse power. A seven speed automatic transmission will come as a standard feature, and also some rumours suggest that the versions will ship with Mercedes 4 Matic- four wheel drive.

Looking at the external appearance of the GLC, it ditches the GLK's boxy lines in favour of a much softer look. There is not much information revealed about the GLC series.

We will still have to wait for some more time to get the official information about the Mercedes Benz GLC from the company.
