Fuller House actor John Stamos tweeted on Saturday assuring his fans that he is okay following his arrest and medical confinement for DUI on Friday night in Beverly Hills.

"Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care," the 51-year old actor posted as reported by E! Online.

Stamos was apprehended after the Beverly Hills police department received calls from the neighborhood reporting a possible drunken driver inside his vehicle acting 'erratically.'

Further, Beverly Hills Sgt. David Armour said, in a report from CNN, that the police pulled over near Stamos vehicle with the actor inside it. Stamos readily identified himself and showed his driver's license to the investigating officers.

People said that the investigation started in 7:45 pm local time. The actor was then taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center wherein he was subject to medical care.

At the hospital, the police had then released the conclusion charging the actor of driving under the influence and was then set to appear in court on September 11 this year.

E! Online remembered that Stamos announced the revival of the 1990s sitcom Full House, soon to be Fuller House in Netflix. Fuller House is said to be produced by Stamos himself as he will also take his past role as Uncle Jesse.

He will be joined by other co-stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Bob Saget, Dave Coulierand Lori Loughlin.

Stamos will also be involved in Fox's upcoming sitcom Grandfathered.

He started his career in Hollywood in 1983 in the soap opera "General Hospital."
