‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ Trailer Release Update: Josh Hutcherson Teases Fans with Photo of Peeta [UPDATE Watch Trailer]

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" trailer could be released very soon.

The franchise's stars, Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence tweeted images from the upcoming movie within days of one another with the June 9th date, suggesting that the official trailer for the final film will air today.

Hutcherson, who plays Peeta Mellark, tweeted an image of his character on June 4th.


Lawrence posted a picture on her official Facebook page of her character, Katniss Everdeen, geared up for the war. In the promo picture, Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick Odair (Sam Clafin) and Messalla (Evan Ross) are all there to fight with their Mockingjay. Along with the photo, Lawrence also captioned it, "6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite."

Over the past few weeks, promo pictures have been released. The official movie poster of a beheaded statue of President Snow was the very first image to be released.

In the final film of the franchise, Katniss and her people are attempting to overthrow President Snow and the Elites as they head for The Capitol for the biggest fight of their lives.

The movie, which was directed by Francis Lawrence, also features Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, Willow Shields, Stanley Tucci, Natalie Dormer and Jeffrey Wright.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 20, 2015.
