Full House fans may have been heartbroken to hear that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen will not be coming back in the series but Jodie Sweetin (who played Stephanie Tanner) recently announced that their character, Michelle Tanner 'will still have a presence' in the new Fuller House revival.

"It's not like were not talking about her. I love and support [Mary-Kate and Ashley], and I think we're going to be just fine," Sweetin told US Weekly on Thursday via Time.

The actress further said that the plan to revive the 1991 TV series has started since 2007 until finally it was materialized when Netflix supported it, Yahoo News said.

"We first started talking about this in like 2007, 2008 about trying to do some sort of a spinoff and kind of bringing the characters back. This has been a long time in the making. I had kind of given up for periods of time where I'm like, 'It's not going happen!' But we pitched it to Netflix and they were so excited about it."

Earlier on Facebook, John Stamos alluded how heartbroken he was to hear the Olsen twin's decision not to participate in the show.

Just so you reporters know - this is not a money gig for any of us. Quite the opposite. We want to give the fans what they deserve for supporting us for so many years. We all just want to have fun - do it in a classy way on Netflix and have a good time. Sad that a few don't share the rest of the cast's opinion - I can only wish them the best," he wrote.

ET said that the 13 episodes of the show will revolve around the new life of recently-widowed DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), now a veterinarian and who will have a third child soon. In raising his growing family, he will be assisted by her younger sister and aspiring musician Stephanie (Sweetin) and their former neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) who moves in to her San Francisco home to help.

Fuller House will start filming on July and will have its premieres in 2016.
