NBA players, both current and former, know what it is like to be criticized. Instead of allowing these words affect them, several of the players decided to participate in Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets" segment on the late night show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Players who showed up on the segment included current players, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin. Former players who also read mean tweets were Reggie Miller, Magic Johnson and Jalen Rose.

Many of the athletes humorously retaliated to the tweets:

"Wesley Matthews complains about every foul. Just go eat donuts on the bench you fat ****," Matthews read before stating that he has "six percent body fat."

"Reggie Miler can't dress for ****," Miller read and added after looking at his own suit, "Really?"

"Imagine the damage Steph Curry would be doing in the NBA if he didn't have such a girly name #changeittosteve," Curry read and responded, "Steve is a terrible name...Oh shoot, that's my coach's name."

Here are some of the other tweets:

"People say LeBron flops, have you ever seen this little french woman names Tony Parker."

"Draymond Green looks like Donkey from Shrek."
