Apple might be releasing a new 4-inch iPhone in the first quarter of 2016, according to various reports. The new iPhone is expected to come with a more affordable price tag.

The rumor is backed by a report from a Chinese website UDN.com that said that UO, a display supplier firm, will partner up with Apple in bringing new smaller smartphone screen panels for the so-called "iPhone 7C."

The report further added that aside from AUO, a number of unnamed tech manufacturers from Taiwan and South Korea will also be supplying the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus maker with the said components.

According to experts, Apple may now have also considered joining the "Mini" and "Concept" concepts of smartphones from several Android phone makers.

In past, Apple has marketed its iPhone 5 by backing the benefits of "one-hand-usage," but it changed when it unveiled bigger iPhones, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

However, the news is just based on speculation, so readers are advised to take it with a pinch of salt.
