Starbucks has stopped listing the cappuccino on the menu in many of its stores, Business Insider is reporting. But, it continues to serve the drink to customers who despite order.

Starbucks declined to comment on taking the drink off the menu, noting only that menu boards differ around the world based on what the brand chooses to highlight each season in a given location.

BI noted that the cappuccino was off the menu only in some stores including New York City San Francisco and Seattle but it was still listen in London.

Why?

Some speculate it might be because cappuccinos are harder to make in larger sizes and can easily be confused with lattes. Thus the company might be phasing them out and "replacing" them with the stronger "flat white."
