Caitlyn Jenner Is Fastest to Hit 1 mn Followers on Twitter, Besting Barack Obama

Bruce, now Caitlyn Jenner is the fastest to hit 1 mn followers on Twitter, Guinness World Records has confirmed.

She's beaten Barack Obama who managed 1 mn followers in 5 hours. Caitlyn did it in four hours.

Caitlyn launched her Twitter account at the same time as a Vanity Fair magazine cover was released, showing her as a transgender woman and revealing the name she will now be using.

She'd previously been known as Bruce Jenner.

At the time of writing this, Caitlyn Jenner had 1.84M followers and the number is still increasing.

"I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me," she tweeted.

"Another Jenner world record, and at 65? Who'da thought! Humbled & honored to have reached 1M followers in 4 hrs. Thank you for your support."

Her step-daughters, known for their reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, shared their support for Jenner.
