Jaxton Leo is short of three months, but has struck a century for the Zangers of Quincy.

Leo and Ruth Zanger got their 100th grandchild on April 8. Having been married for 59 years, with 12 children, 53 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild has showered a 100 blessings on them, according to foxnews.

"The good Lord has just kept sending them," Leo told The Quincy Herald-Whig. "We could start our own town."

Almost all the members of the family reside in Quincy. At every get-together, they rent a church hall, and feed their family with 50 pounds of ham or ten turkeys. However, in spite of their huge and staggering size, the Zangers are open to more members.

"There's always room for one more," Ruth remarked.

The first grandchild was born in 1975, when Linda and her husband, Kenny Hardin, had their first child, Jeannine, according to abc7. However, it still doesn't look like it's going to be the end of the show, as lots of grandchildren are getting married.

"I expect there will be more. It wouldn't surprise me any because there are a lot of young families there yet that are just getting started," Leo said, according to today.

He confessed that every grandchild would be welcomed with open arms as if it were their first. "Oh definitely. Birth is a miracle and to have a new one is just a wonderful thing," he said.
