Xiaomi Mi 4i had been rolled out in the market a couple of months back. The Xiaomi Mi 4i has managed to attract customers in the global market.

However, the device faced a number of technical problems.

The company had released the MIUI v6.5.4.0 update for the Xiaomi Mi 4i. However, this version backfired, and caused firmware issues.

Now, Xiaomi has released the MIUI v6.5.5.0 update, and the company now promises that the recent update will solve the overheating problems and other technical errors that the device had been experiencing.

Hugo Barra, Global Vice President, Xiaomi, posted, "We've heard from some Mi 4i user that their devices can get warm under more strenuous conditions, such as complex 3D gaming for extended periods of time. To address these concerns, we've optimised our thermal control algorithms to better regulate the temperature. The new thermal controls adjust frequency, voltage and the number of cores in use depending on the chipset temperature".

Hope the new update shall solve all the errors in the Xiaomi Mi 4i.
