ASUS ZenFone 2 Release Date and News Update: Officially Available On Amazon at $199

ASUS recently held its 'Incredible Comes To New York' event to showcase the ZenFone 2 and share details about its availability. The smartphone is now officially available on Amazon.

The ASUS ZenFone 2, with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM powered by an Intel Z3560 Processor would cost $199 and for $299 you can get the higher-end version that comes powered by the Intel Z3580 processor that comes with a 64GB of internal storage space and 4GB of RAM.

The smartphone also sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, a 13MP rear-facing camera with ASUS Pixel Master technology to help with better low-light pictures, and a 5MP front-facing camera with excellent wide-angle capabilities for the perfect selfie.

ZenFone 2 is an unlocked GSM device so it's going to work both on AT&T and T-Mobile networks. The smartphone should also work with other GSM carriers as long as they support LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 17 or any of the compatible 2G and 3G network frequencies.

The device is also dual-sim enabled and comes with a 3,000mAh battery. Another notable feature is the ASUS BoostMaster, that can get four hours of talk time on just 10-minute charge.
