ISIS supporters threatened to kill President Obama after the news that US forces had executed ISIS leader Abu Sayyaf, according to the gatewaypundit.

Rattled by the US strike on IS land, the militants are brindling with vengeance, and declare that the special operations mission never took place, a Vocativ analysis reveals.

"If they took Abu Sayyaf, we will take Obama," one ISIS supporter posted in the hours after the raid, near the eastern Syrian city of al-Amr.

They declared: "If your goal is killing Abu Sayyaf then our goal is killing Obama and the worshipers of the cross. We have attacks coming against you."

The US commandos had executed an overnight military operation on May 15, killed Sayyaf, captured his wife, and freed a slave, a Yezidi woman, according to the Pentagon. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said that the mission was a "significant blow" to the Islamic State. U.S. Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter said the operation was "another significant blow" and that "it is a reminder hat the United States will never waver in denying safe heaven to terrorists who threaten our citizens, and those of our friends and allies," according to jewishpress.
