Janet Jackson is back for a new music reboot promising to release a new album and an upcoming world tour in response to fans' ongoing plea that the artist will have a music comeback.

In a report by CNN, the 49-year old RnB singer made the announcement on her birthday, May 16 in a Twitter post named "My conversation... #ConversationsInACafe."

The post leads fans to a 32-second video that features her voice with an equalizer background.

"I promised you'd hear it from my lips. And now you will. This year. New music. New world tour. A new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going."

The hashtag "Conversations In A Café" is said to have been used several times in the artist's previous post. However, CNN is yet to find out the meaning behind these words.

Earlier this month, the songstress' social media account has been bombarded with a lot of noise calling her to produce a new album.

One follower made a funny post saying that the artist is Missing In Action from the Music Entertainment Industry.

One Twitter user posted, "Love this! @JanetJackson is missing! CDFU:-) "@MyVelvetRope: ONE RETWEET COULD HELP BRING HER HOME! RT RT RT! pic.twitter.com/QaSyBfB7CF"

The "too funny, too sweet" pranks has also been retweeted 300 times, again, with fans begging the artist to produce a new album, E! Online said.

"Seriously, Janet, where the hell are you? We NEED you back. We miss you. Your fans miss you. The MUSIC INDUSTRY NEEDS YOU. Come back and show these young whippersnappers how it's done!" the poster read. "We're not asking. We're BEGGING!" another fan posted.

According to Forbes, Janet Jackson's first concert this year is rumored to be slated on July 28 at the Comerica Theater in Phoenix. However, the rumors, which started from Spotify, still needs to be confirmed.
