Guess what did Stephen Hawking say to David Beckham when they met recently?

"I'm always being compared to you as a British icon and sometimes you rate higher and sometimes I do," legendary physicist, told soccer icon David Beckham.

Mr. Hawking met Mr. Beckham at an event hosted by Google on Monday where he used the opportunity to shed some light on their common ground.

Beckham was also thrilled with the encounter and he posted it on his official Facebook page, captioning the photo: "It was an absolute honour to meet Professor Hawking. What he said to me was truly amazing."
