X-Men Apocalypse director Bryan Singer posted a new photo on Instagram that will give a hint as how James McAvoy, who played the role as the young Professor X, would look like in the next Marvel movie.

In the Instagram shot, McAvoy posed with a man who is about to finish shaving the actor's head using a razor with some shaving cream left on his ear. It goes with the caption, "#Xavier reborn (in process ) #jamesmcavoy #XMEN #XMenApocalypse @xmenmovies," Hollywood Reporter said.

The post confirmed Stewart's earlier expectation that he would not be included in the next X-Men movie and this time, McAvoy will take his place.

Movie Pilot then speculated how the actor's bald feature could affect the story's plot. The news source compared plot differences between the original comics and the movie plot.

In the Marvel comics, Professor X has long been bald since high school when he discovered his powers. However, this does not happen in the movie as it took an altered timeline thus leading the source to think if McAvoy's baldness is the side effect of the serum that he took to suppress his powers.

Meanwhile, even if a final list for the X-Men cast is not released yet, updates from a casting call for the film's Quebec production location were recently released, Comic Book said.

The update include a short plot summary saying that the movie franchise will revolve around saying that first class and new X-Men members will be facing its greatest foe, Apocalypse who has the power to change its physical forms and imitate powers from other superheroes. He also formed the cult-like group called the Four Horsemen to help him annihilate the X-Men.

The update also included that Gambit (Channing Tatum) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) will be in the movie.
