First of all, isn't this statement cruel to a camel?

Muslim women have 'no right' to deprive a husband of sex even if they are sitting on a camel, said a Muslim scholar, called Perak Mufti Tam Sri Harussani Zakaria, according to yahoo.com. He added: "Even the Prophet says even when they're riding on the back of the camel, when the husband asks her, she must give."

As for rape, it does not happen in Islam (for those who haven't heard---and we suspect that includes Muslims) he explained. Rape exists only outside marriage. "There's no such thing as rape in marriage. This is made by European people, why should we follow?"

There were some more sexy bits to follow. He said that the Quran forbids men to have sex with women while they are menstruating. Hence, these are the times she can deny her husband sex---when she is menstruating, ill, or has just delivered a baby.

Zakaria came up with these interesting rules in response to a rape awareness campaign launched by the All Women's Action Society (AWAM). Some Muslim men were inflamed by their posters which read: "Without her consent, it is rape. No excuse".

The Malaysian activists are trying to have marital rape recognised as a crime. Said one spokesperson: "To say that a husband has the license to rape his wife is incredibly shocking. Entering into a marriage does not mean that a woman's body belongs to her husband and she is subject to his every whim. Women do not lose their basic human rights just because they enter into marriage," according to uklifestyle.

In Malaysia, marital rape is not illegal. But a violent husband who forces his wife to have sex can be imprisoned for five years.
