Rumors are flouting in the market about Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 to get an update to Android Lollipop 5.1.1 soon. GSM Arena said that the information came from the Google's factory images for Nexus devices.

The 5.1.1 update has been made available for the Nexus Player. Android Greeks reported that the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6 and nexus 9 would also be getting their update, though we still could not confirm whether this would indeed happen.

Once the company makes the update available for the devices, the users would get a notification on their gadgets. On the permission of the user, the Over-the-air update would be downloaded and installed. Once the device is updated, it would go for a re-boot and then the device would work on the new version.

Android Greeks said users should not get their hopes up as the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 is just a minor update, as its primary mission is to fix bugs. The new version only provides a better user experience and new notification systems.
