BB King, one of the greatest guitarist of all times, is recently under 'home hospice care' as he is reported to be battling serious health problems.

"I am in home hospice care at my residence in Las Vegas. Thanks to all for your well wishes and prayers," says the official statement from King's website.

According to CNN, the legendary blues guitarist was admitted at the Las Vegas hospital since Thursday in the afternoon after his daughter, Patty King, noticed that her father was not eating and had shown signs of being dehydrated as was observed with his 'orange'-colored urine.

In the tests, BB King is found out to have experienced a minor heart attack.

This is not the first time for the 'King of the Blues' to be rushed to the hospital. In early April, he is also under medical care for dehydration caused by his Type II diabetes.

Patty King, who has talked to the media, also revealed that she has conflicts dealing with her father's manager, Laverne Toney, said to have refused the idea of putting BB King under hospice care, BET said.

Toney, who has power of attorney over the performer, is also alleged of 'hurting' the guitarist for alleged stealing of $20-$30 million and other valuables including several Rolex watches.

Patty King also accused Toney of not providing the 89-year old guitarist proper medication.

BBC remembered that BB King has received the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame awards for his exceptional guitar skills and innovations. He is known for hits like The Thrill is Gone and Every Day I Have the Blues.

BB King has cancelled a show in October last year for his failing health condition.
