Xiaomi Mi 5 to feature Finger Print Sensor

Going by the recent reports by the Chinese Intellectual Property Office, the Chinese Giant has recently filed a patent for a finger print sensor that would be featured in its most awaited phone, the Xiaomi Mi 5.

Though there is no official announcement by the company regarding the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5, it is said that the Mi 5 will have an optical sensor as well as a bottom finger print sensor in the cover glass's terminal equipment.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 being equipped with the finger print sensor suggests that the Mi 5 houses the best of the latest technology and thus makes it the most awaited phone in the global market.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 would work on the latest version of the Android i.e., most probably the Android Lollipop 5.0.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 5.2 inch QHD display screen. The phone will be powered by a 2.7 Ghz quad core processor, along with Snapdragon 805 SoC, coupled with a 3GB of RAM.

Looking at the media side of the phone, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature a 16 mega pixels primary camera and a 8 mega pixels secondary camera.

On the memory capacity of the phone, it will have a storage capacity of 16GB/ 64GB based on the variants.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be equipped with a 3,600 mAh battery, which is quite decent looking at the other features of the phone.
